Selvakumar Jayaraman

Selvakumar Jayaraman is a highly qualified organic chemist with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist II at Cambrex High Point, Inc. since September 2022, Selvakumar has also been a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Wright State University and a Research Associate at IIT Madras since September 2016 and March 2015, respectively. Selvakumar's research contributions include the development of new directing groups for transition metal-catalyzed C-H activation and functionalization, as well as aiding in the construction of biologically active isoquinoline alkaloids at Pondicherry University from August 2013 to February 2015. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Pondicherry University, a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from Periyar University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Government Arts and Science College, Tiruvannamalai.
