Sonia Girolamo

Sonia Girolamo, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sonia started their career as an Audit Manager at RSM Richter in 1989 and held that position until 1997. Sonia then joined Blinds To Go as VP Finance, where they led a team of 25 employees and set up the Finance team for a potential IPO. From 2004 to 2015, Sonia worked at Covidien (Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group) as VP Finance & Administration, leading 5 support teams and serving as a strategic partner to the General Manager and Operating Managers. Sonia was responsible for finance, sales operations, sales compensation, IS/IT, and operational excellence, and also led activities related to acquisitions, divestitures, and spin-offs. In 2015, they joined Solotech Inc. as Chief Financial Officer, leading corporate and operational Finance teams and playing a key role in mergers and acquisition projects. Most recently, Sonia has been serving as the Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Pharmascience since 2018.

Sonia Girolamo, CPA attended HEC Montréal from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BAA) degree with a specialization in Accounting.
