Maria Galanou

Maria Galanou has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Quality Affairs for New Products Expert at Pharmathen since February 2012, with prior roles including Quality Affairs for New Products Specialist and GMP Compliance Senior Officer. Previously, Maria worked at Specifar S.A. from March 2008 to February 2012 as a QA Coordinator, focusing on process and cleaning validation, and as a QC Analyst, conducting analyses of raw materials and finished products. Early career experience includes a postgraduate research position at NCSR Demokritos from January 2006 to March 2008, where Maria contributed to significant scientific studies related to drug delivery systems. Maria holds a degree in organic chemistry from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, completed in 2008, and an earlier degree from the same institution obtained in 2004.
