Gerrit De Vries

Gerrit De Vries has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2012 with an internship at Franklin Display Group, where they acted as a Mechanical Engineering Intern and Production Worker. In 2016, they interned at UniCarriers as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern. In 2017, they worked as an Engineering Intern at The Caldwell Group, Inc. From 2018 to 2020, Gerrit worked at Wolf Robotics, A Lincoln Electric Company, in the roles of Tooling Mechanical Engineer and Project Engineer. Finally, in 2022 they began working as a Mechanical Engineer at Phase Technologies.

Gerrit De Vries has a comprehensive educational background. Gerrit earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Technology from Rock Valley College in 2014. Gerrit then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota Mines in 2017. Gerrit is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from South Dakota Mines, which they are expected to complete by 2022. In addition, they obtained a Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional in Mechanical Design from Dassault Systèmes in December 2021, and a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) from the American Welding Society in December 2021.
