Niall O'Dowd

Niall O'Dowd, PhD, is an accomplished entrepreneur and engineer with extensive experience in additive manufacturing and structural engineering. As the founder of Phase3D since November 2020, Niall focuses on enhancing quality assurance technology within the additive manufacturing industry. Niall was part of the prestigious Chain Reaction Innovations program at Argonne National Laboratory from April 2021 to July 2023, leveraging advanced facilities to advance a startup in additive monitoring. Previous roles include serving as a Los Alamos Graduate Fellow and holding various engineering internships, including functional testing and design projects. Niall holds a PhD and a Master's in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego.
