Al Tommas Díaz-Palacios

Al Tommas Díaz-Palacios has held a variety of roles in the creative industry. In 2020, they became the General Manager - Representative for DUAL ED. From 2016 to 2020, they were the Chief Strategist Officer & Creative Executive for DS Productions - L.A., where they were responsible for creating new visual resources and devices for cinema, augmented reality, and virtual reality. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Art Direction and Educational Manager in MOCAP/Visual Technologies and Virtual Reality at PHASESPACE. From 2007 to 2015, they worked as a freelance Production Designer and Art Director. From 2010 to 2011, they were an Associate Professor at U-TAD (University of Technology and Digital Art). From 2008 to 2009, they were a Ta's/Collaborator at UCM - Fine Arts and Media Arts College - University of Complutense, Madrid. From 2011 to 2012, they were the Founder and CEO of - KAMCHATKA -, an audio-visual platform and cinema laboratory. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Academy of France in Spain at CASA DE VELAZQUEZ. From 2012 to 2011, they were a Lecturer at Tallinn University in Estonia and at Sullivan Center.

Al Tommas Díaz-Palacios has a diverse educational background. Al Tommas obtained a licenciatura en Bellas Artes from HFBK (Hamburg), SAIC (Chicago), and UCLA - FULBRIGHT California in 2015-2016. Al Tommas also completed MFA studies at University of California, Los Angeles in 2015 in the field of film production. From 2013-2014, they obtained a Masters in “RESEARCH IN ART AND CREATION (MIAC)” from UCM – Complutense University. Additionally, they hold a certification from the Presidencia de la República del Paraguay for the “Paper of former Vice President of Paraguay and Paraguay Educa CEO, Cecilia Rodríguez Alcalá”.
