Alycia Halladay

Alycia Halladay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of psychology and autism research. Currently serving as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation since January 2024, Halladay has been an Adjunct Lecturer at Rutgers University since January 2018 and holds the position of Chief Science Officer at the Autism Science Foundation since September 2014. Previously, Halladay was the Board President of the Phelan McDermid Syndrome Foundation from January 2021 to December 2022 and served in various roles at Autism Speaks, including Senior Director of Environmental and Clinical Science and Director of Research for Environmental Sciences from March 2005 to September 2014. Halladay's academic background includes a PhD in Psychology from Rutgers University earned between 1995 and 2001 and a BA in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin completed in 1999. Early research experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher position at Rutgers University from May 1999 to March 2003 in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.
