Pavel Novichkov

Pavel Novichkov is an experienced professional in the field of bioinformatics and computational biology, currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect for Life Sciences Startups at Amazon Web Services since March 2024. As the Founder of DeSci Solutions LLC and Co-Founder of PhenoBiome, Pavel has played a significant role in product development and operational management, including the successful launch of startup initiatives and securing intellectual property. Prior to these roles, Pavel was a Computational Research Scientist at Berkeley Lab for 12 years, where contributions included the co-development of award-winning genomic technologies and leading major projects for the US Department of Energy. Pavel's career began with software development positions in various organizations, including the National Center for Biotechnology Information and Integrated Genomics, and is supported by a PhD in Biology (Bioinformatics) and dual engineering degrees.
