Chris Phipps

Chris Phipps has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Chris currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Development at Phenometrix, a company they joined in 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an independent contractor at Phipps Marketing, where they assisted with financial portfolio management and gained valuable knowledge in company analysis and market research.

In addition to their business roles, Chris has also pursued a career as a professional actor and voiceover artist since 2011, attending the TBell Actors Studio. Chris has also been a Board Member of the Dallas Chaine de Rotisseurs since 2014, focusing on gourmet food and wine education and enjoyment.

Chris has been actively involved in the non-profit sector as well. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Partner at Social Venture Partners Dallas, a non-profit organization that helps other non-profits succeed. Here, they aligned individuals' passions with their purpose, strengthening non-profits and investing in collaborative solutions.

Before this, in 2016, they worked in business development at YOU-GEN™, a company specializing in hybrid generators for clean energy generation. The technology provided a reliable and constant supply of electricity, ideal for various renewable power systems.

Chris also had a stint in business development at Lowfoot Inc. in 2014 and was a Founding Partner at Southwest Energy Smarts, LLC from 2012 to 2014. In both roles, they focused on solutions for monitoring and controlling electric power consumption for residential and commercial customers.
