Tyrone Philipson, MD, FACEP has extensive experience in emergency medicine and has held various roles throughout their career. Tyrone most recently worked as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences starting in June 2023. Tyrone Philipson, MD, FACEP has an extensive education history. Tyrone began their educational journey in 2002 at Loma Linda University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Emergency Medical Care in 2005. Following this, from 2005 to 2009, they pursued Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Med Studies at both the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and Nevada State University. In 2009, they enrolled in the American University of Antigua College of Medicine, where they attained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in 2013.
In addition to their formal education, Dr. Tyrone Philipson holds certifications that further enhance their qualifications. Tyrone obtained the title of Board Certified-Emergency Medicine "Diplomate" in 2017 from the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Furthermore, they are a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Tyrone also possesses a Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, which they obtained in November 2022.
