Michael Dayhoff

Mike Dayhoff currently serves as Chairman and Trustee at Phil Smith Management, Phil Smith Automotive, and Smith Family Office, a position held since January 2022. Before this, Mike was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Phil Smith Automotive Group from January 2022 to December 2024, and previously held the roles of Partner, President, and CEO at Phil Smith Automotive from November 1997 to December 2021. Mike began a professional career as a Tax Partner at Averett Warmus Durkee Bauder & Dayhoff CPA's from September 1988 to April 1998, following earlier experience as a Tax Manager at Coopers and Lybrand. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University Northwest, completed between 1974 and 1977.
