Andrea Lindsay

Andrea Lindsay has a diverse work experience history. Andrea is currently working as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity since March 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Lead Investigator and Mitigation Specialist at the same organization from March 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity, Andrea worked with the City of Philadelphia in the Office of Domestic Violence Strategies as a Macro Practicum from September 2019 to April 2020. Andrea also gained experience at Community Legal Services as part of the Family Advocacy Unit as a Social Work Practicum from September 2018 to May 2019.

In addition to their social work roles, Andrea has volunteered at the Atlantic Center for Capital Representation as a Mitigation Volunteer from June 2017 to June 2018. Andrea started their career as a Legal Intern at the Defender Association of Philadelphia from September 2015 to May 2016.

Andrea Lindsay obtained their Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, which they completed from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended the University of Chicago from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, General.
