Don Steinberg is a seasoned communications professional and writer with extensive experience in journalism and academia. Currently serving as Communications Manager/Writer at Temple University College of Public Health since March 2018, Steinberg also contributes as a staff writer and freelance contributor for The Wall Street Journal and has been a freelance writer for The New Yorker since January 2003. Additional roles include freelance contributing writer for TIME, contributing writer for Philadelphia Magazine, and author at Quirk Books. From April 2016 to August 2018, Steinberg led the writing and research efforts for Forbes' multimedia project, The Great Rewrite. Previous positions include adjunct professor in magazine journalism at Temple University and a boxing writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer from 2002 to 2011. Steinberg’s education includes degrees from Columbia University and The London School of Economics and Political Science.
