Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has focused on hardware development for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previous roles include firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, where Chris developed firmware and diagnostic tools for similar products, and electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, responsible for design and repair of educational devices. Additional experiences include serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where Chris contributed to control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
