Umyra Azwan

Umyra Azwan is a Graduate Trainee in Commercial Operations at Philip Morris International since October 2024. Previously, Umyra served as the UKEC Regional Chairperson of North East 2022/23, where responsibilities included liaising with Supreme Councillors and organizing events that fostered culture and communication among Malaysian students. Umyra also gained experience as an emcee for significant events such as The Malaysian Student Leaders' Summit XVII and Projek Amanat Negara 2023, showcasing strong public speaking and interpersonal skills. Umyra's earlier roles include being a Director for the North East Coffee n' Conversation event and Head of Operations for Freshers101, alongside an internship at EY focusing on employer branding and a research position at Durham University related to visual perception after brain injury. Umyra holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioural Science from Durham University and completed A-Levels at Kolej Yayasan UEM.
