Nicole Slota

Nicole Slota serves as a Math Specialist for grades K-6 at Philip's Academy Charter School since August 2021, focusing on curriculum development using Eureka Math Squared. In addition, Nicole is a Math Consultant for Genceptz Publishing & Consulting and a Math Intervention Specialist for Paterson Public Schools, roles maintained since November 2019 and December 2018, respectively. Prior experience includes teaching Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies as a Gifted and Talented Teacher at Paterson Academy for the Gifted and Talented from 2014 to 2018, alongside a decade-long tenure as a Teacher of Mathematics in the Paterson Public School System. Nicole holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University, and possesses a strong background in differentiated instruction and curriculum adaptation to meet diverse student needs.
