Chaithra Thimmappa

Chaithra Thimmappa is an experienced engineering and technical program manager with a strong background in software development and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Technical Program Manager at Philips since July 2022, Chaithra specializes in coordinating innovation programs focused on carrier refactoring and DevOps transformation. Previously, at Philips Innovation Campus in Bangalore, Chaithra worked as a Senior Technical Project Manager, where responsibilities included educating teams in SAFe and Scrum practices and managing risks and dependencies. Chaithra’s earlier experience includes roles at Dell EMC as a Technical Scrum Master and Engineering Manager, overseeing quality assistance in Agile delivery and growing teams significantly. With prior positions at Cognizant and NetApp and a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Chaithra possesses a comprehensive skill set in technology and leadership.
