Michael Leik

Michael Leik has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Michael began their career in 1991 as a Youth Leader at Daybreak. Michael then worked as an Associate Attorney at Santen & Hughes from 1995 to 2000. Leik then moved to Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, where they served as an Associate Attorney from 2000 to 2002. In 2003, they joined Phillips Edison & Company as a Senior Real Estate Attorney and held this position until 2011. From 2011 to 2015, Leik worked as a Compliance Counsel at Phillips Edison & Company. Michael was then promoted to the role of Senior Corporate and Due Diligence Counsel from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they became the Director of Compliance & Ethics, and in 2020, they were promoted to Associate Vice President, Compliance & Ethics. Currently, Leik serves as the Associate Vice President, Deputy Ethics & Compliance Officer at Phillips Edison & Company.

Michael Leik earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and International Studies, with a focus on the Hesburgh Program in Public Service, from the University of Notre Dame in 1991. Michael then attended the University of Virginia School of Law from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Juris Doctor degree.
