Tanya Berardini

Tanya Berardini has extensive experience in the field of scientific curation and research. Tanya began their career at the University of Pennsylvania in 1998 as a Post-doctoral Fellow, where they worked until 2002. Following this, they joined the Carnegie Institution of Washington as a Lead Scientific Curator, a position they held for 12 years. In 2013, Tanya joined the Phoenix Bioinformatics Corporation as the Director of Curation, and later became the Chief Scientific Officer in 2017. At Phoenix Bioinformatics, they played a crucial role in combining wide availability with long-term sustainability for scientific databases and software serving the research community.
