Shahnoor Shafqat

Shahnoor Shafqat is a clinical assistant professor and industrial design faculty member at Arizona State University, actively contributing to the field since January 2024. Concurrently, Shahnoor serves as an artist and researcher at Phoenix Bioscience Core, focusing on the intersection of art and life science research. As a co-founder of CandyCaps, an innovative project aimed at creating sustainable alternatives to sugary snacks, Shahnoor collaborates with Marz Wrigley on solutions to combat micro-plastic pollution. Notably, Shahnoor won the 2022 Biodesign Sprint and holds several teaching roles, including adjunct professor at North Shore Community College. Shahnoor's extensive educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona and ongoing studies at prestigious institutions, specializing in design and sustainability.
