Cari Pittman Huson

Cari Pittman Huson has a diverse work experience spanning over 23 years. Cari began their career at Ascend One in 1996, where they worked as a Desktop Support/Product Specialist for nearly seven years. Cari then joined AECOM Consult as a Tech Lead/ComOp IV, responsible for managing and supporting IT systems and services. After that, they worked at Ahtna, Inc. and Pulau Electronics as a Site Manager, where they applied their expertise in electrical and electronic systems design, evaluation, repair, and modification.

In 2011, Cari joined EPS as a LAN/WAN Instructor, utilizing their experience to train others in the field of network technology. Cari then moved on to SAIC, where they worked as a Systems Administrator, focusing on VMware systems and PowerShell scripting. Their next position was at Army Civilian Service as an IT Specialist (Network/SysAdmin), where they used automated network and systems management tools to proactively maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure.

Following their time with the government, Cari joined Raytheon as a Computer Network Technologist II, providing computer and network support on classified and unclassified networks. Cari then transitioned to Valiant Integrated Services as a Computer Systems Technologist I, before finally landing their current role as a Software Engineer at Phoenix Defense, LLC. Here, they serve as a liaison between operators and engineering staff, helps resolve technical matters, and provides training and support for new software products.
