Derek Valerio

Derek Valerio has extensive experience in the field of user experience and interface design. Derek started their career in 2010 at Playdom, where they worked as an Artist for seven months. Later that year, they joined Disney Consumer Products and Interactive as a Lead Artist, and ultimately became a Senior User Interface Designer, holding this position from January 2014 to July 2017. In 2017, they joined Lucasfilm Games as a Senior User Interface Designer, where they worked until October 2018. Currently, Derek is employed at Phoenix Labs as a Senior User Experience Designer, a position they have held since November 2018.

Derek Valerio attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2003 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree. Derek'sfield of study was Architecture.
