Emily Pearson

Emily Pearson is an experienced educator specializing in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), currently serving as a SENDCo at Phoenix Learning & Care Group since January 2023. Prior to this role, Emily held the position of SENDCo at Dedworth Middle School from March 2020 to January 2023 and worked as the Lead Teacher of Humanities at Garth Hill College, overseeing the autism unit known as RISE from September 2017 to March 2020. Emily's career began at Faringdon Community College as a Teacher of Religious Education, later transitioning to Kennet School, where responsibilities included roles such as Teacher of RE & PSHE and Head of RE, PSHE, and Citizenship. Emily holds a BTh (Hons) in Theology from the University of Oxford and a NASENCO qualification in Special Education and Teaching from Middlesex University, along with a PGCE in Secondary Religious Education from Oxford Brookes University.
