Alisa Nakashima has worked in customer service and event management for over 10 years. Alisa began their career as a customer service manager at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, where they were responsible for managing a team of customer service representatives. In this role, they oversaw the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures, as well as training and employee recognition programs.
In 2012, Nakashima transitioned to the role of community relations and special events manager at the airport. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating a variety of community and special events, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
In 2014, Nakashima joined the Phoenix Suns as the director of guest experience. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service for all guests attending Suns, Mercury, Rattlers, and other events at Talking Stick Resort Arena. Additionally, they oversee the development of customer service training programs for staff, and serves as a liaison between on-site vendors and Sports & Entertainment Services.
Alisa Nakashima has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Bridgewater State University, an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Massasoit Community College, and a Communication and Media Studies degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
Alisa Nakashima reports to Alvan Adams, VP, Facility Management. They are on a team with Brian Polokoff - Director, Event Operations, Jerry Medina - Director of Engineering, and Sarah Schock - VP, Booking & Event Production.
