Bob Marquis

Bob Marquis is a digital filmmaking teacher at Metro Tech High School since July 2012, focusing on collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. As the Student Education Director for the Phoenix Film Festival since January 2012 and as Executive Director of Sailbear Labs from June 2011 to December 2017, Bob has fostered creative and educational opportunities for students. Bob has also served as adjunct faculty at Grand Canyon University and the Art Institute of Phoenix, developing curricula in digital film production and web design. Additional experience includes advisory roles at IFP/PHX, improvisational performance and instruction at The Torch Theatre, and design work at General Dynamics C4 Systems. Bob holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
