Francisco Javier Alvarez has extensive experience in education, currently serving as an IB Spanish Teacher and Head Girls Soccer and Cross Country Coach at Phoenix Union High School District since August 2016. Previously, Francisco held the roles of AP Spanish Teacher, World Languages Department Chair, and Head Girls Soccer Coach at Tolleson Union High School District from July 2009 to May 2016. Additional teaching experience includes a position as a Spanish/English Language Development Teacher at Lake Havasu Unified School District. Prior to entering the education field, Francisco accumulated significant experience in various professional roles, including logistics and sales within organizations such as GEFCO and IBM, and held administrative positions at the University of Miami and the University of Rochester Medical Center. Francisco's education includes a Post-Baccalaureate Teacher in Residence Program from Rio Salado College, an MBA from the University of Miami, a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from Excelsior University, and a degree in Technical Agriculture Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
