Rebecca Teague

Rebecca Teague is a Senior Scientist at PhoreMost Ltd, contributing to the Target Discovery team since June 2022. Previously, Rebecca held the position of Scientist II at Horizon Discovery, focusing on complex pooled CRISPR screens for external clients from August 2021 to June 2022. A Research Associate role at the University of Sussex was undertaken from May 2021 to August 2021, finalizing work from the doctoral studies. Rebecca has also worked as a private Biology and Mathematics tutor with Tutorful, gaining tutoring experience from GCSE to undergraduate levels between September 2015 and January 2021. Earlier experiences include a research internship at the University of Sheffield as a Placement Student, an exchange student in the Study China Programme, and participation in the Nuffield Foundation Science Bursary scheme. Academically, Rebecca earned a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Sussex and an MSci in Biology from the University of Birmingham, supplemented by A-levels in Biology, Maths, and Physics.
