Mick Yates has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mick is currently the Co-Founder of PhotoFrome, a festival dedicated to celebrating photography. Prior to this, they have been the Owner of Mick Yates Photography since 2013, showcasing their passion for photography and storytelling. Mick has also served as a Visiting Professor at the University of Leeds, where they focused on research into persuasion, communication, and leadership implications. Additionally, they are the Founder and Leadership Strategist of LeaderValues, a business dedicated to achieving better results through leadership consulting and coaching. Mick Yates has also held advisory and board positions in organizations such as Greener, SHERPA EU project, digi.me, Angkor Foundation, and IORMA, where they contributed their expertise in sustainability, ethics, and innovation. Notably, they had an extensive tenure at dunnhumby, where they held positions as the Head of International Markets and the UK & Ireland Managing Director, leading strategic partnerships and data-based decision-making. Mick Yates completed a BA in Mathematics & Philosophy from the University of Leeds from 1969 to 1972. In 2018 to 2019, they obtained an MA in Photography from Falmouth University. Additionally, Mick received an MSc in Consulting & Coaching for Change from HEC Paris in 2003 to 2004. Mick also attended the University of Oxford in 2003 to 2004 for the same field of study. In 2017, they obtained a certification called "Museum of Modern Art, New York 'Seeing Through Photographs'" from Coursera Course Certificates.
