Alex Rowbotham

Alex Rowbotham is a seasoned Senior Visual Designer and contributing photographer with extensive experience in the media design field spanning over three decades. Since April 1990, Alex has operated as a self-employed professional while simultaneously contributing to various reputable organizations, including Photographers Direct and Alamy, both from 2005 to present, and ImageBrief until 2022. Alex's pioneering work in Fair Trade Photography at Photographers Direct reflects a commitment to providing equitable opportunities for photographers. Additional roles include Technical & Creative Director at Associazione Culturale Luce Dipinta Multivisioni and ownership of freelance design businesses specializing in media design and audio-visual projects. Academic contributions as a part-time visiting lecturer at Plymouth College of Art and Design complemented a solid educational foundation with an HND in Photography, Film, and Television from Bournemouth & Poole College of Art & Design.
