Audrey also worked as a lecturer, teaching a graduate level protein chemistry course, and as a postdoctoral research associate, focusing on hydrogen-deuterium exchange mass spectrometry, protein expression, and purification. Prior to their work at Northeastern University, Audrey was a graduate student researcher at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where they focused on studying the diversity in the regulation of the individual members of the Src kinase family.
Audrey Hecht received their B.S. in Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University and their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Pharmacology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
