Iva Jugovic Dominguez has diverse work experience in various sectors. Iva started their career as a Public Health Intern at Zavod za Javno Zdravlje Leskovac in 2014. Iva then worked at the University of Maine, where they held multiple roles, including Maine Learning Assistant for Chemistry and Pre-Calculus, Resident Assistant, Organic Chemistry Teaching Assistant, and Inorganic Chemistry Lab Intern. In 2017, Iva joined Novartis as a Public Policy Postgraduate, where they were involved in developing policy positions and advocacy tools, managing executive engagements, and working on topics such as pricing, reimbursement, and patient-centric policies. Iva later worked at Bel Medic as a Business Development Manager, contributing to workforce reorganization efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, overseeing the opening of a private catheterization lab, and handling various communication tasks. From 2022 to 2023, Iva worked at BlueCross BlueShield of Vermont as a Managed Healthcare Analyst, where they provided tailored solutions to clients based on healthcare data analysis. Most recently, they joined PhRMA as the Director of Policy and Research in 2023.

Iva Jugovic Dominguez received a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Spanish Language from the University of Maine in 2015. In 2016, they obtained a Master's Degree in Public Health from St John's College at the University of Cambridge.
