Casey Grittner

Institutional Development And MEL Officer at Physicians for Human Rights

As Institutional Development Coordinator, Casey Grittner supports the cultivation and stewardship of current and prospective institutional donors to further the mission of PHR. She works closely with colleagues across the organization to manage proposal and reporting timelines, provide relevant and timely communications, conduct prospect research, and maintain records.

Prior to joining PHR, Grittner worked in development operations at Catholic Medical Mission Board, where she maintained and analyzed data, collaborated across teams, and restructured management systems for a sponsorship program. She has also had experiences at a variety of other nonprofits, including Human Rights Watch, the International Rescue Committee, and the Wisconsin Alliance for Women’s Health. Grittner is passionate about human rights and international aid and development with a focus on public health. She brings this passion, along with strong skills in data management, organization, communication, and collaboration, to this role.

Grittner has a BA in Humanitarian Studies from Fordham University and a Public Policy Analysis certificate from the London School of Economics.
