Gaurav Yadav

Gaurav Yadav's work experience begins in 2015 as a Software Developer Intern at Frankly.me. Gaurav then worked as a Python Intern at LazyLad before becoming a Laravel and Angular Developer at Infinite Eurekas. Gaurav also worked as a Freelance Software Developer at Unihire before joining Practo as a Software Engineer and later as a Platform Engineer.

In 2017, Gaurav joined Ola as a Software Developer, where they eventually became a Senior Software Developer, Principal Engineer, and Technical Lead in Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering. Gaurav led the development of various projects, including a Kubernetes operator for supporting Redis cluster, a PCI-DSS certified infrastructure, and a cloud-agnostic infrastructure platform.

After their tenure at Ola, Gaurav worked at IOD as a Technical Writer and as a Co-Founder at Let Us DevOps. Currently, they hold the role of Engineering Manager/Principal Architect at PW (PhysicsWallah), where they lead the infrastructure and backend engineering efforts, focusing on building efficient and cost-effective systems for millions of students using open-source tools like Kubernetes, EMQx, Prometheus, and many others.

In 2016, Gaurav also worked at Learnsteps, where they played a role in building and running the website/app to support the IT industry by providing career growth content and updates on the latest developments in the field.

Gaurav Yadav completed their AISSCE in science from R.L.B Lucknow in 2011. Gaurav then pursued an Integrated Post Graduate degree in Information Technology from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, graduating in 2016. In addition to their academic qualifications, Gaurav has obtained various certifications in areas such as DevOps, Kubernetes, Lean Technology Strategy, and software version control. These certifications were obtained from institutions like LinkedIn and HackerRank, with the majority obtained in August 2020.
