Zafer Altunbezel

Zafer Altunbezel is a seasoned professional in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, currently serving as a Course Instructor at Physiopedia since August 2022, specializing in pain assessment and management, as well as gunshot injury rehabilitation. Between December 2023 and July 2024, Zafer held dual roles as Physiotherapy Activity Manager within the Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Ukraine Early Rehabilitation Project and as a Rehabilitation Technical Officer with Handicap International - Humanity & Inclusion. Zafer previously worked with MSF from April 2017 to January 2023, contributing as a physiotherapist in the VoT (Victims of Torture) Project and taking on managerial responsibilities. Prior roles include Rehabilitation Team Lead at the Multeciler Association & Handicap International Partnership and physiotherapist at Kumsal Paediatric Rehabilitation Center. Zafer's educational background includes a Master's degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation from İstanbul Aydin University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Istanbul University, supplemented by training in osteopathy from IFAO.
