Martha Alshaweesh

Martha Alshaweesh has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Martha began their career as an Operations Department Supervisor at Shukronline.com, where they supervised customer service and finance teams and managed logistics for exported shipments. Martha then worked as an Accountant at Accountemps, handling bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.

Martha went on to join Ryan Specialty Group as a Staff Accountant and AP Team Leader, where they reviewed insurance payment batches and managed the team's market payable report. Martha then worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital as a Contractor, handling accounts receivable for the real estate ledger.

Martha also gained valuable experience as an Office Manager at TDM Group, where they handled accounting, payroll, HR/recruitment, and other administrative tasks. Martha focused on establishing and restructuring workflows and processes. Martha later worked as a Retail Operations Manager for L&G Enterprise/River of Life Pte Ltd, managing global retail operations for an Amazon Marketplace Seller.

Martha's most recent role was as an Accountant at Brookfield Properties Retail, where they managed receivables for a portfolio of high-end malls and served as the point of contact for tenants. Martha provided customer support and built relationships with various internal teams.

Currently, Martha is working as an AR/AP Accountant at physIQ.

Martha Alshaweesh is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Digital Communications at Loyola University Chicago, with an expected completion year of 2025. Martha has also obtained a Hootsuite Platform Certification from Hootsuite in March 2023.
