Vasily Larionov

Vasily Larionov is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in leadership and investment roles. Currently serving as a Founding Partner at Phystech Ventures since April 2019, Larionov focuses on Deeptech investments, while also being a Managing Partner at Upstream Lab and a Cofounder & Partner at Temir Energy. Previously held significant positions at Targin and Baker Hughes, where roles included Chief Technology Officer and Director of Integrated Operations, respectively. Larionov's career at Schlumberger spanned several senior management roles across Central and Eastern Europe, overseeing diverse operational functions. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas and participation in the Global Leadership Development Program at Duke Corporate Education.
