Nicolas Kral, PhD, is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Phytoform, a company focused on sustainable agriculture through unlocking the genetic potential of crops to address challenges related to climate change and nutritional inefficiencies. Prior to this role, Nicolas was a Graduate Research Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London, where responsibilities included teaching practical bio-research classes and conducting research on plant root development under external electric fields. Nicolas has also served as an advisor for the Imperial College London iGEM team, contributing to innovative water purification materials. With a solid educational background from Imperial College London, including a PhD in Developmental Biology, Nicolas has published research on plant root regeneration and has received several awards for contributions to synthetic biology projects.
