Sharad Surase

Sharad Surase has over 22 years of experience in various roles related to contract manufacturing, vendor development, and strategic sourcing in the pharmaceutical industry. SHARAD is currently the Head of Toll/Contact/Loan Licence/P2P/Strategic Partnership/Vendor/Supply Chain at PI Industries Ltd, where they independently manage contract manufacturing for regulated markets and is responsible for product delivery, quality, and statutory compliance. Prior to this, they served as an Associate Director at M/S Jubilant Life Science, leading contract manufacturing activities for key raw materials, APIs, and intermediates. SHARAD also worked as a Senior Manager at M/S Hikal Limited, focusing on strategic sourcing and contract manufacturing for intermediates and APIs. Earlier in their career, they held positions at M/S Unimark Remedies, M/S Innovassynth Technologies Ltd, and M/S Cipla, where they gained experience in outsourcing, contract manufacturing, and production management.

Sharad Surase attended Pune University from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Organic Chemistry and obtained an MSc in the subject. SHARAD then pursued further education and earned an MBA in Quality & Production Management from M/S Kaizen School of Business Management from 2009 to 2010.
