Lara Sweeney

Lara Sweeney is a dedicated music educator and freelance artist with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a music teacher since September 2019, Lara teaches piano to students of all levels while preparing them for exams and assisting with school repertoire. In addition to music instruction, Lara works as an ABA tutor with BlueStars Early Years Services and operates as a freelance musician, providing piano services for events. As a mural artist since April 2017, Lara enhances spaces through creative murals. Previously, Lara held an administrative role with the Health Service Executive, adapting services during the Covid-19 pandemic, and worked as a waitress at Carnaween House. Lara also contributed as a TEFL English language assistant in Spanish-speaking settings. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Music Therapy at Queen Margaret University, Lara holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from University College Dublin and has furthered education through an Erasmus program in Psychology and Spanish.
