Shima Moosakhani

Shima Moosakhani is a Senior Chemist at PiBond since February 2023 and previously served as a Project Manager at Measurlabs, focusing on thin-film, semiconductor, inorganic, and nano materials, as well as polymer and coating projects. Moosakhani's academic background includes a PhD from Aalto University, where experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher involved the design and fabrication of advanced materials for heat-flux sensors and bandpass filter applications. Prior doctoral research at Amirkabir University of Technology encompassed the synthesis of inorganic hole transporting materials for perovskite solar cells, alongside various research roles in polymers and coatings, including a position at the Color and Polymer Research Center. The educational journey includes a second PhD in Polymer Engineering, a Master of Science in Polymer Engineering-Color Science and Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field.
