Kening Du is an Optical Manufacturing Engineer at Picarro, Inc. since May 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., where Kening worked on the design and fabrication of microfluidic flow focusing nanoparticles and collaborated in a cleanroom environment. Kening served as a Graduate Research Assistant at UC San Diego, engaging in multiple optical and electrical imaging system projects, utilizing tools like Zemax, AutoCAD, and MATLAB. Earlier experiences include research at Nanjing University and Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, focusing on optical coupling systems and the fabrication of advanced materials. Kening holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Photonics) from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials and Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering from Nanjing University.
