Ilan Aisic

Ilan Aisic has a diverse background in software development and leadership roles. Ilan started their career as a Software Developer at Control Data Corporation, where they worked on various projects and also served as a Team Leader. Later, they joined IBM as a Software Consultant before moving to NYNEX Allink as a Software Engineer and GUI team leader. At ORBCOMM, Ilan worked as a Principal Software Engineer and NMS team leader.

In 1995, Ilan founded Pointer Software Systems, Ltd., where they served as Owner, CEO, and Director. Ilan managed the daily operations, including manpower, software development, project management, and budgets. Ilan was also involved as a software architect, engineer, and telecom consultant. During their tenure, they also held the position of President from 1999 to 2001.

In 2012, Ilan co-founded PTech HM, a startup in the Sleep Health field, where they served as Co-Founder and Development Manager. Ilan was responsible for the development of desktop, web, and smartphone applications and actively participated in the commercial aspects of the products.

Additionally, Ilan co-founded PickApp Farming Ltd. in 2015, an Agri-tech startup. As Co-Founder, they served as a Director and later as the VP of R&D. In these roles, they were responsible for designing the software architecture, hiring technical staff, and managing their activities.

Throughout their career, Ilan has demonstrated expertise in software development, project management, and leadership. Ilan has worked on a diverse range of projects and industries, from telecommunications to agritech and sleep health.

Ilan Aisic has an extensive education history. Ilan obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics & Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, where they studied from 1981 to 1984. Ilan then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Pace University from 1990 to 1992.

In 1993 and 1994, Ilan Aisic attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they earned a Diploma of Education in Business Administration for Engineers.

In 2009 and 2010, they enrolled at the ISEMI Entrepreneurship College, focusing on starting up companies and entrepreneurship.

Ilan Aisic also attended the Israeli Naval Academy from 1976 to 1977, where they earned the rank of Lieutenant while studying Naval Command & Studies. Ilan began their education at The Hebrew Reali School from 1971 to 1975 and also attended the IDF Junior Command Military Academy during the same period.

Additionally, Ilan Aisic has obtained additional certifications. In April 2014, they completed the course "A Beginner's Guide to Irrational Behavior" offered by Coursera. Furthermore, in December 2013, they completed the course "A Brief History of Humankind" through Coursera as well.
