Jay James

Jay James is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and engineering. Currently serving as CEO at Picoyune since November 2012, Jay has previously held positions such as Energy Commissioner for the City of Berkeley and CEO at Skydeck | Berkeley. With a strong academic background, Jay earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Earlier experience includes roles as a Post Doc at UC Berkeley focused on plasmonic sensors and as a Design Engineer at Chevron.
