Florian Widmer

Florian Widmer is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security operations and infrastructure. Currently serving as the Head of Cybersecurity and the Head of Security Operations Center at Pictet Group since February 2019, Florian previously held key positions at Banque Lombard Odier & Cie SA, including Head of Infrastructure and Applications Security and ad interim Head of Information Security. Florian's experience encompasses team management, IT security toolset development, and the execution of critical cybersecurity initiatives across multiple geographical locations. Florian's technical foundation includes roles as an IT Security Engineer and Intern, complemented by internships in quantitative development and security at notable organizations. Florian holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from EPFL and has participated in an exchange program at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
