Suraj Prabhakaran has a wide range of work experience, starting in 2009 as a Student Research Assistant (HiWi) at the Chair of Logic and Theory of Discrete Systems. In 2010, they worked as a Student Research Assistant (HiWi) at the Chair of Communication and Distributed Systems. In 2011, they worked as a Research Scientist at the German Research School for Simulation Sciences. In 2015, they worked as an Exchange Scholar at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and as a Research Associate at Technische Universitaet Darmstadt. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Intel Corporation, first as a Platform Solutions Engineer, and then as a Chief Technology Officer. Throughout their career, they have been involved in driving workload analysis, platform definition, and application enabling.
Suraj Prabhakaran obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Computer Science from Anna University between 2005 and 2009. Suraj then completed a Master of Science in Software Systems Engineering from RWTH Aachen University between 2009 and 2011. Suraj also obtained an Enterprise Application Developer certification from the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) between 2005 and 2009. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt in 2016.
