Erdem Tuna

Erdem Tuna's work experience begins in 2017 when they worked as an intern at GT ARC, where they worked on prototyping mesh networks for IoT devices. Erdem deployed sensors on node devices, collected data, and set up communication using MQTT protocol over 6LoWPAN.

In 2018, Erdem worked as an intern at DAI-Labor, where they focused on creating simulation scenarios in 5G using NS-3. Erdem gained experience in cellular mobile communications, network layers, 4G-5G technologies, handover algorithms, and NS-3 network simulator.

From 2019 to 2021, Erdem worked as a software engineer at Aselsan.

In 2021, Erdem worked as an intern at JetBrains and also as a teaching assistant at Bilkent University.

Currently, Erdem is working as a software engineer at Picus Security, starting in October 2022.

Erdem Tuna completed their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Engineering at Bilkent University from 2020 to 2023. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University (Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi) between 2015 and 2019. Erdem completed their secondary education at Ankara Atatürk Anadolu Lisesi from 2011 to 2015, but their specific degree obtained during this period is not mentioned.
