Gökhan Hacioğlu

Gökhan HACIOĞLU has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Gökhan started their career in 2018 as a Research Assistant at the Human Mobility Processes and Interactions Research Lab at Bilkent University. In this role, they worked on the SEREDA project, which focused on Sexual and Gender Based Violence against immigrants.

In 2021, Gökhan joined Picus Security as a Territory Sales Manager. At Picus Security, they were responsible for offering Continuous Security Validation and Mitigation services to ensure cyber-resilience. Gökhan worked with emerging threat samples in production environments to measure the effectiveness of defenses and build the right security strategy.

Currently, Gökhan is working at TransferChain as a Sales Manager. TransferChain provides secure and private file storage, sending, and backup services. The platform is end-to-end encrypted, blockchain integrated, and distributed.

Gökhan HACIOĞLU completed their Bachelor's degree at Bilkent University from the years 2015 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including "Fundamentals of Modern Log Management Practices" from Purple Academy by Picus in March 2021, "Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age" from Harvard Business School in February 2021, and "GSEC: GIAC Security Essentials (GISO)" from GIAC Certifications in July 2020.
