Platform Engineer (devx Team) at Picus Security

Muhammed Said Kaya has worked as a Software Engineer at TÜBİTAK BİLGEM YTE from October 2020 to July 2021, where they were involved in the BKMYBS project. Muhammed Said used technologies such as Ember.js, Spring Boot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, ELK Stack, and SOAP Web Services.

Muhammed Said then joined kloia as a Platform Engineer in August 2021 and worked on observability and platform development and automation projects. Muhammed Said was responsible for projects such as integrating a Jenkins Shared Library for CI/CD implementation and creating Git Hooks using Bash Scripting and Python for standardization of commit messages, build testing, and static code analysis. Muhammed Said left kloia in July 2022.

Currently, Muhammed is working at Picus Security as a Cloud Software Engineer starting in July 2022. Muhammed Said'swork primarily focuses on cloud-native environments, including technologies such as Kubernetes, k3s, flux, GitOps, Mozilla sops for encrypting secrets and configmaps, Nginx Ingress Controller & TLS, Loki for collecting Kubernetes API audit logs, and Prometheus & Grafana for metrics.

Muhammed Said Kaya completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Hacettepe University from 2016 to 2021. In addition, they obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2021, Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in October 2021, Terraform: Certified HashiCorp Implementation Partner (CHIP) from HashiCorp in April 2022, and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in December 2021.
