Maya Tyson

Maya Tyson, MSHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Piedmont Healthcare since 2017. Previously, Maya held the position of Director of Human Resources at Merchants Metals from 2016 to 2017 and served as Regional HR Manager at PruittHealth from 2012 to 2016. Additional experience includes roles as HR Generalist at Rural/Metro Corporation and as an HR Generalist Contractor at JM Family Enterprises, Inc. Maya began a career in human resources with FedEx as an HR Representative from 2007 to 2010 and has prior experience as Associate Director at Kaplan Test Prep from 2003 to 2007. Maya Tyson holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Development from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Oberlin College.
