Scott Kraft has over three decades of work experience in the manufacturing industry. Scott started their career at ThyssenKrupp Materials NA in the Copper and Brass Sales Division in 1992 and later moved on to roles at ThyssenKrupp Materials NA in the AIN Plastics Division. Scott then joined Lear Corporation in 1998 as a Purchasing Manager before transitioning to Metals USA in 1999 where they served as the Director of Purchasing. In 2002, Scott became the Director of Corporate Purchasing at Alro Steel Corporation, eventually moving up to the role of General Manager and Regional Manager before becoming the Regional Vice President. In 2024, they assumed the role of Corporate Director of Operations at Piedmont Plastics. Throughout their career, Scott has consistently excelled in driving efficiency improvements, building outstanding customer relationships, and exceeding operational expectations.
Scott Kraft began their education at Oakland University in 1987, where they studied Mechanical Engineering for one year. Scott then transferred to Michigan State University and graduated in 1992 with a degree in Supply Chain Management, focusing on Purchasing, Operations Management, Distribution, and Transportation Systems Management. Throughout their career, they also obtained certifications in leadership strategies, executive programs, and effective communication from institutions such as Thayer Leadership, Bell Leadership Institute, and Dale Carnegie Training.
